Terms of Service

1. Your account

You sign in with a Google account, with Sign in with Apple in the mobile app, or with an email address and password on the website, and you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, and hold a valid driver's licence to use driving-related features. Keep your account details accurate.

2. Road safety first

Never operate the app while driving.

You are solely responsible for complying with all road rules, including mobile-device laws in your state or territory. Always drive to the conditions and your own judgement.

Convoy — and with it navigation prompts and voice announcements — is not available yet. When it arrives it will be designed so that a driver does not need to touch the screen; convoys, waypoints and messages will be set up before you drive or while safely stopped, or by a passenger; and its navigation and alerts will be aids only. These terms will be updated before it ships.

3. Vehicle information is not professional advice

Service specifications, maintenance reminders, statistics and any extracted vehicle data are provided for convenience and may contain errors. They are not a substitute for your vehicle's owner manual, manufacturer guidance or a qualified mechanic. Verify critical values (oil type, tyre pressure, torque settings and similar) against official sources before relying on them.

4. Deals, parts and third-party retailers

Deal Hunter and Pluto Parts are not available yet. When they arrive, their results and listings will be best-effort price information gathered at a point in time; prices, stock and fitment may be wrong or out of date — confirm on the retailer's site before buying. Some links will be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you purchase, at no extra cost to you. Purchases are made with the retailer, under the retailer's terms — we are not a party to those transactions. These terms will be updated before those features ship.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you add — records, photos, documents and drive data. You grant us a licence to host, process and display that content solely to provide the service to you and, where you choose to share it, to the people you share it with. The sharing features (convoys, drive stories, safety beacons) are not available yet. Don't upload content that is unlawful or that you don't have the right to use.

6. Acceptable use

• No attempting to access other users' data or probe our security.
• No using convoy or beacon features, once they arrive, to harass, stalk or track anyone without their knowledge and consent.
• No scraping, reselling or bulk-extracting the service or its data.
• No using the service for unlawful street racing or other illegal driving activity.

7. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app — see the Privacy Policy for what deletion removes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, the service is provided "as is", and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for inaccuracies in vehicle data or deal pricing, or for events arising from your driving or use of the roads.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above will change and material updates will be highlighted in the app, with at least 30 days' notice where reasonably possible. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Questions: plutodrive.app@gmail.com.
